PARK WORKS

restoration

The Park was known as one of the most beautiful Parks in Poland, but as with many things in Poland, years of neglect have taken its toll. Little of its original features remain but still its unique beauty and charm is there for all to see. In the summer of 2015 work began to be carried out in the park. An inventory was made which highlighted the need to cut down 243 trees. In addition hundreds of young self seeded wild trees were marked for removal. The works have been divided into three stages; clearing wild trees, uncovering and rebuilding original features.

The park is 10 hectares in size so there’s plenty of work involved in maintaining and up keeping it. The park is open to the general public free of charge and we encourage visitors to come and walk around.

We are always looking for volunteers to help restore and maintain it so please get in touch.
